Boston Fine Tailoring

The Boston brand incorporates clothing that is essential for looking good in the office, at the races or for that important occaision. This includes suits, trousers, sportscoats, jackets, overcoats and shirts.

The range includes garments sold on a seasonal basis and stockservice garments that are held in a large size range throughout the year. Seasonal or “indent” items are sold into retail stores twice per year. Seasonal sales happen abourt 6 months in advance. Seasons are:

Spring/Summer

Autumn/Winter

Stockservice suits, trousers and shirts are held for retailers so they can replenish stocks on a daily basis.

The Boston garments have two overall fittings/styles, distinguished by different colour swing tags.

“Classic” and “Fashion”

“Classic”: covers the majority of our garments including Lex Paul suits, Paul trousers and tailored fit business shirts. Red colour tags

“Fashion”: covers our slimmer fitting styles including Paree Lyon suits, Lyon trousers and our new Liberty slim fit shirts. Purple colour tags

Within these two fittings are three different fabric qualities

“Essential”  “Signature”   “Europa”

“Essential” includes our Poly/Viscose and wool blend suit range. Prices are at the lower end of the scale. Some casual polymide casual jackets would also be included. The quality of construction is the same as our “Signature” suits

“Signature” includes the majority of our garments. Suits are alsways 100% natural fibres…wool, cotton, linen etc. Shirts are cotton rich with at least 60% cotton. Casual jackets are mainly wool or cotton. Again, styles can be either “Classic” or “Fashion”

“Europa” includes suits where fabrics are imported from Europe including the Italian Marzotto and Zignone brands. 100% cotton shirts with a non-iron treatment and our quality Angora and cashmere overcoats are also under the Europa label. The linings and finishes are of a superior quality.
