Expedition Apparel

Expedition Apparel

Expedition Apparel has grown and evolved over its 15-year history and has emerged as a leader within the Australian male suiting industry by creating tailored suits and shirts that appeal to a number of cross sections of the fashion market. Expedition Apparels' product design is born from an absolute awareness of the customer’s personal style and needs. The designs consist of simple cuts, contemporary silhouettes and accurate manufacturing.

With over 40 years in the rag trade behind him, Howard Thompson established Expedition Apparel after recognising a gap within the Australian male apparel market. This niche consisted of  traditional, well- tailored suits for the economic conscious male; thus Park Avenue was formed. Not allowing the business to merely revolve around male suiting, coats (formal and casual), shirts (business and casual) and an extended line of casual clothing have been added to the portfolio.

In 2001, Boston was introduced to the Expedition Apparel portfolio and has emerged as the fore-most suiting label within our portfolio, combining quality fabrics with a traditional European tailored cut.

Whilst the staff at Expedition Apparel strive to provide a strong professional approach to all aspects of the business, maintaining long standing relationships with clients forms an integral and strategic factor in the success of Expedition Apparel: a quality that we pride ourselves upon.

In 2006 Expedition Apparel became the Australian and New Zealand Licensee (Menswear) for the iconic French fashion house Daniel Hechter. This important relationship has enabled Expedition Apparel to bring to Australia and New Zealand, the latest in casual fashion trends
